Interactive Metronome® (IM) Certification Workshop
When: 12 April 2024
Description
Interactive Metronome® (IM) is an evidence-based training and assessment tool proven to improve cognition, attention, focus, memory, speech/language, executive functioning, comprehension as well as motor & sensory skills. This online workshop will cover the background, substantive research as well as practical application of the Interactive Metronome Program. The presenter will also add videos to demonstrate different exercises as well as provide personal cases to augment the certification information. Over 40 000 professionals worldwide use this program that is endorsed by research from prestigious colleges such as Harvard and Baylor Universities. From pediatric care to rehabilitation hospitals, across all ages and stages, Interactive Metronome has made it’s mark over the past 30 years. Timing is a “missing” link in sensory integration work and in order to fully intervene with praxis, this work is essential to “clinch the deal”.
We have applied for CPD points in South Africa.
