Anxiety, Relationships and Sensory Processing – Recording

Description: So many children and adolescents are diagnosed with anxiety and even more struggle with undiagnosed anxiety that they exhibit through other behaviors such as emotional meltdowns, aggression, verbal agitation as well as being moody, sad and even depressed. Too many times the influence of developmental delay are being overlooked in favor of counseling or medication intervention, which does support, though may not address the core issues of “why”. During these three recorded webinars, we will look at anxiety as it presents in different shapes and forms and discuss the impact of sensory processing in developmental delay that contributes to anxiety related behavior. We will also discuss different parenting styles as we as professionals seek to support parents in behaviors occurring at home. This workshop is one of those “gems” that can change the course of a child or teenagers’ life.

I appreciate your teaching methods. Your passion and expertise is obvious in the way you present the information. I look forward to learning more with you through other courses! The knowledge I gain helps me to be more thorough and clear when I explain OT goals and interventions to families. I feel that I have been aware of the interventions you discuss for some time, but I am now more prepared and ready to implement it on a regular basis!
