Description: This recorded workshop series of 6 webinars will deepen the understanding of the lives of Autistics within the official definitions, but also the practical application thereof in our understanding and more. Maude will discuss the relevance of current theories, neurodiversity and the fundamental core essences associated with Autism, as she will also take a deeper dive into the overlap of Trauma and PTSD occurring in their lives. Maude’s compassionate approach originates from a multi-perspective view providing a holistic frame from which Autistics can be served. Her view of “meeting them where they are at” comes from her own clinical experience in multiple cases over many years as well as extensive training on this topic. She describes Autism from the "inside out" through many case examples to illustrate her thinking. Maude has developed her own assessment and intervention protocol through her work with her team at A Total Approach at her center. This workshop (Track 1) is renewed to reveal the most current research and thoughts pertaining Autism. As such this workshop would be the pre-required first step in a 3-step ladder to progress in her certificate program.
