Working Memory and ReadLS - Recording

When: Online access to complete at your own pace, within 90 days of sign up.

Description: Long term memory stores our past experiences and information we gather over the years in our learning and studies. Short term memory recall enables us to remember where we just put something down or recall what we just had for lunch. What is working memory? In this recorded workshop we will explore the intricacies and the details of a definition of this important skill in our brain. We will explore the overlap of working memory in attention, in holding and executing sequences, planful behavior as well as support inhibition of our impulses. Educators rely on students showing working memory capacity and an effective student relies on this capacity to plan timelines, hand in assignments on time etc... The ReadLS program builds on this capacity from a central nervous system perspective (bottom up), as will also be demonstrated by snippets of this program during the presentation. Join us for a short while to learn more about working memory and the ReadLS program.
