Nutrition Strategies to Support the Biochemistry of Behavior, Cognition and Development - Recording

Description:

This 5 session recorded course is designed to help medical professionals, teachers and caretakers help children reach their full potential by identifying those who could benefit from nutrition intervention. Learn how to recognize nutritional issues that may be slowing down progress and discover creative strategies that can support cognition and improve behavior.

Outline / Agenda:

Session 2: Allergies and Food Sensitivities: How the immune system communicates with the nervous system and can affect development. The difference between allergies and other reactions. Common food irritants and their potential impact.

Session 3: Special Diets: The wild world of elimination and gut-healing diets. How the most popular work. Who might benefit. Pitfalls and problems.

Session 4: The Microbiome: All about the gut ecosystem including how the bacteria inhabitants influence digestion, absorption and mood. Nutritional interventions for reflux and constipation.
