LIVE ONLINE
When: Online – Wednesdays – September 18, 25 and October 9, 2024 – 10:00-11:30am US ET
Over the past 30+ years at A Total Approach, and with a focus on mental health practice and training in the last decade, we have encountered many different diagnoses. The three covered in this workshop have been a key focus for our team, as our assessment and intervention programs support the developmental needs of different profiles. Clinical questions have emerged as we have embarked on the journey of supporting our clients in various ways unique to each profile.
In this three-webinar workshop series, we will take a deeper look at the characteristics of each diagnosis and discuss the developmental considerations that if addressed earlier in clients’ lives may have strengthened some vulnerabilities to ease the manifestation of these diagnosis.
This webinar series offers the possibility for occupational therapists to collaborate with mental health professionals so health and wellbeing might be an earlier outcome for many clients. Included will be a discussion on intervention ideas that have proven helpful to improve outcomes.
Who should attend this series:
- Mental Health professionals who would like to understand the support that occupational therapists can add to the team process
- Occupational Therapists who work with these diagnoses and are interested in how developmental considerations contribute to intervention planning
