Description: There is so much to be said about these “not so little” topics!!! We will summarize the basics in each area, though would like to emphasize discussion around problem behaviors in these three functional aspects of daily living. Maude will provide ideas and suggestions for therapists and parents to flourish in their ability to intervene. Included will be practical tools including questionnaires that can be used and re-used to support the assessment and intervention process. Discover the science behind what we do as much as also using our own clinical reasoning based on the science available to us.

- Discover the impact of sensory development on sleeping, feeding and toileting behavior
- Become familiar with questionnaires to support task analysis for intervention
- List 3 different approaches to toileting
- Collect at least 10 ideas to ensure good sleeping routines
- Compare picky eating to problem feeding behavior

Bio: Maude Le Roux is an occupational therapist with an extensive following of professionals across the globe. She completed the SIPT training in 2002 and Sensory Integration forms the foundation from which she continues to develop different tracks of assessment and intervention. Maude is certified in multiple different techniques that she applies uniquely through her Developmental Pathways Model (DPM). She owns and directs a clinical practice in Glen Mills, PA, where she has a team of dedicated professionals, many of whom had been with her over 10 years as well as being with her since inception of her practice in 2001. Maude opened the Maude Le Roux Academy in 2019 from where she hosts a full plate of workshops both live and online. She gives back to her community by serving on different boards and currently serves on the Board of Directors for ATTACh, an international organization dedicated to serve families and children with attachment related difficulties and trauma informed care. She co-authored the book “Our Greatest Allies” in 2011 with Lauren O’Malley describing the journey of one autistic child.
