Description: If there is one thing we all have in common it would be that we all need to breathe and “take a breath” to relax! It turns out that breathing is as important for life, as it is to our brain, as it is for our emotional health and wellbeing. So many of the clients we serve struggle with the impact of their breathing on their postural control, on their voices, on their parasympathetic system to create “rest and digest” to name a few implications. This series of 3 webinars consists of a summary of different effects, including the neuroanatomy, and the action, but also very practical ideas for intervention. We will take a deeper look at utilizing one of the most important life forces of our physical and emotional existence and not only be able to support our clients more, but also ourselves as we strengthen our ability to support the pressures and demands on our lives while serving others. This series is an important one as it will include both the current science and practices which will inform your practice and allow you to include low-cost techniques with high impact on the work you do.
